Tiger Men and Women Compete at Inter-Regional Border Battle

Logan Township, New Jersey - The Trinity women's cross country team placed 13th and the men came in at #26 Saturday at the Inter-Regional Border Battle, in competition against nationally ranked squads.

HIGHLIGHTS

The Tiger women scored 382 points in the Division III 6k race and were 13th in a field of 39 at the Rowan (NJ) University-hosted event. Trinity, ranked fifth in the South/Southeast Region, came within 20 points of second-ranked and 12th-place finisher University of Lynchburg (VA).

Trinity's men posted 695 points and were 26th in a field of 42 teams.

Molly McCullough was Trinity's top women's finisher, placing seventh of some 345 runners. McCullough ran the 6k in 21:39.1.

Elliot Blake paced the Tiger men, crossing the finish line in 17th place among a field of more than 400 competitors in the 8k. Blake set a personal-best mark with a time of 25:25.

Laura Taylor placed 67th and Brianna Ratliff was 77th in the women's race, while Keaton Holt finished in the 139th slot in the men's.
