Brad Bulycz is in his 10th season as a Tiger assistant volleyball coach.
Over the past nine seasons, Bulycz has helped Trinity win three Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships and advance to the NCAA Playoffs on seven different occasions.
Before joining the Trinity staff in 2010, Coach Bulycz was an assistant for eight years at St. Mary’s University (an NCAA Division II institution) in San Antonio. Coach Bulycz was extensively involved in the Rattlers volleyball community activities, such as the Dig Pink cancer awareness program and the Adopt-a-Rattler Habitat for Humanity project. He was responsible for match-day management and played a major role in the St. Mary’s recruiting effort.
The versatile Coach Bulycz was also St. Mary’s men’s and women’s tennis coach for four years and was the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee staff representative. An adjunct instructor in sports psychology, Coach Bulycz was the assistant compliance officer, dealing with NCAA regulations and policies.
Coach Bulycz previously was an assistant volleyball coach at Cameron University (OK). He was the head coach at Lethbridge Community College (Alberta, Canada). Coach Bulycz earned an associate’s degree from Lethbridge in 1996 in rehabilitation services. He went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from St. Mary’s in 2004 and a Master of Arts degree in industrial/organizational psychology in 2007.
He was the longtime coach of the Bexar County Volleyball Club in San Antonio.
Coach Bulycz and his wife, Allison, are the parents of two children, a son, Sydney, and daughter, Eliana.
