San Antonio - The Trinity volleyball team has earned a #10 national ranking by the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association NCAA Division III Poll.
Led by Head Coach Julie Jenkins, the Tigers received a top-10 ranking for the fifth time in six regular-season AVCA Polls. Trinity has also been ranked in the top-15 in all seven polls during the campaign, including the pre-season rankings.
The Tigers are on a six-match win streak and stand at 16-4 overall. Following last week's 3-1 home Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference victory over Texas Lutheran University, the Tigers are sporting an undefeated 8-0 SCAC mark.
Trinity's team holds a number of national rankings. Included on the list are 15th-place positions in kills (1,014), assists (948), and hitting percentage (.250). Junior setter Katrina Lieberman is 10th in total assists with 780 in her column. Lieberman is ranked #18 in assists per set, at 10.54.
The Tigers travel to Seguin, Texas, Saturday for two conference matches. First up is Schreiner (TX) University at 2:00 p.m. followed by a 4:30 p.m. matchup with host Texas Lutheran.
