San Antonio - The 19th-ranked Trinity women's tennis team posted a 9-0 home victory over #21 Southwestern (TX) University on Friday.
De Leon lost the first set of #3 singles 1-6, but bounced back to take the match 6-4, 10-7.
Ashley DeBauge rallied to win the second set of line one singles, then won after her opponent retired to finish off the shutout.
Trinity got a shutout for the second straight match and improved to 7-4 on the season, including a 7-1 record against NCAA Division III opponents.
Southwestern dropped to 12-2 after the loss.
Hailey Feuer upped her singles record to 8-2, including a 5-1 mark at #4 singles.
Ashley DeBauge won her fourth consecutive singles contest and is 8-3 on the season.
Zoey Kaffen also secured her fourth straight win and is 6-3 in singles play this year.
The Tigers host National Junior College Athletic Association powerhouse Tyler Junior (TX) College at 10:00 a.m. Saturday.
