#11 Trinity Women’s Tennis Shuts Out St. Mary’s College

San Antonio - The 11th-ranked Trinity women's tennis team shut out Division III opponent St. Mary's (IN) College 9-0 in a Monday afternoon home match.



The Tigers won all three doubles matches by scores of 8-0. Zoe Kaffen and Mary Kaffen played the top line, Caroline Kutach and Megan Flores were the #2 team, while Ashley DeBauge and Hailey Feuer had the third match.

St. Mary's was limited to just three games in the entire dual match. Kutach won #1 singles 6-0, 6-0. Feuer on the fourth line and Andrea De Leon on the fifth defeated their opponents without conceding a game as well.

DeBauge won #2 singles, Zoe Kaffen took the third, and Francesca Canjar captured the sixth, as each player yielded only one game.

The earlier match with Division II opponent University of Indianapolis (IN) was canceled because of rain.



Trinity has amassed an overall record of 5-3 and is 5-0 against DIII opponents. St. Mary's dropped to 6-3 after the loss.

Hailey Feuer is sporting a 6-1 singles record, Caroline Kutach stands at 5-2, and Ashley DeBauge is 5-3. Kutach and Megan Flores are 5-3 as a doubles team.



The Tigers return to action March 20 with a match against DIII opponent Johns Hopkins (MD) University in Houston, Texas. Rice (TX) University will be the site of the matchup.
