San Antonio - Trinity senior women's soccer midfielder Julia Kelly has been elected a Second Team All-American by

In November, Kelly became a United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Second Team All-American. Kelly also was selected for the United Soccer Coaches All-West Region First Team, Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference First Team, and SCAC Defensive Player of the Year.

An outstanding student-athlete, Kelly earned a slot on the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American Third Team. Kelly was a Second Team Scholar All-American pick by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (renamed United Soccer Coaches) in 2016.

Kelly sparked a stout Tiger defense that allowed only six goals to go with 17 shutouts in the 2017 campaign. She also fired in 13 goals during the season, which was third on the team.

Led by second-year Head Coach Dylan Harrison, the Tigers completed the season with a 19-2-0 record. After winning a ninth straight SCAC title, and the 22nd overall, Trinity advanced to its 23rd NCAA Division III Tournament.
