#10 Women's Soccer Records Sixth Straight Shutout

Georgetown, Texas - The 10th-ranked Trinity women's soccer team wrapped up its Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference road weekend with a 6-0 shutout of Southwestern University Sunday afternoon.

Julia Camp and Chelsea Cole provided a pair of Tiger goals in the first 10 minutes of play, and Trinity never looked back.

Camp netted the eventual game-winner in the ninth minute of action, and Hannah Booher supplied the first of her three straight assists.

Cole scored in the 10th minute on Booher's second assist, then converted a Booher corner kick for another score in the 22nd minute of play.

Trinity would take the 3-0 lead into halftime, holding a 27-1 advantage in shots taken in the first half.

Just six minutes into the second half, Meredith Licata knocked in her first of two straight goals, as this time it was Camp with the helper. Licata added another in the 60th minute, on an assist from Tori Schott that made it a 5-0 Tiger lead.

The final scoring play came in the 86th minute, as Halleanne Briana Zunker found Halleanne Dure for the goal.

The Tigers posted their sixth consecutive shutout, and improved their record to 7-1-0 overall and 3-0-0 SCAC. The Pirates remained winless at 0-8-0 and 0-5-0 SCAC.

Julia Camp's opening goal was her fifth scoring play of the season, and the first game-winner. Camp now has 37 career goals, and moved into a tie for 10th place in Trinity's record books.

Chelsea Cole and Halleane Dure are tied for the team lead with eight goals each this season.

Hannah Booher's team season-best three assists upped her total to eight in her column, giving her the most for any Tiger player this season.

Trinity posted a season-high 44 shots, and limited Southwestern to only one first-half attempt.

The Tigers will be back on the road next weekend, taking on Centenary (LA) College on Friday, and Austin (TX) College on Sunday afternoon.
