Seguin, Texas - The 10th-ranked Trinity women's soccer team posted its fifth straight shutout with a 13-0 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference victory Friday night over Texas Lutheran University.
The first-half onslaught continued in the 29th minute, as Halleanne Dure knocked in the first of her three goals on the evening. Booher picked up her second assist.
Cole got a solo goal in the 49th minute, then she assisted on Abby Blackwood's goal less than four minutes later.
Peth made it an 11-0 Trinity lead with the first of her two goals in the 69th minute.
Dure completed her scoring night with a goal in the 73rd minute, as Blackwood provided the assist.
Peth finished Trinity's scoring with another goal in the 76th minute, and Lilah Bevins gave the final assist of the night.
The Tigers improved their overall record to 6-1-0, and now stand at 2-0-0 in the SCAC. Texas Lutheran dropped to 2-3-2 and 2-2-0 SCAC.
Trinity's 13-goal performance was the highest since 2002, when the Tigers defeated Millsaps (MS) College.
Colleen Markey's opening goal was her third scoring play of the season, and the second game-winner.
Halleanne Dure's first career hat trick brought her total to a team season-leading seven goals. Dure now has 21 career goals to her credit.
With her second-half goal, Chelsea Cole now has six goals in her column.
Julia Camp's pair of goals improved her season total to four, and upped her career mark to 36. Camp moved to a tie for 11th place in Trinity's record book.
Hannah Booher and Cole each produced two assists, and are the top-two team leaders. Booher now has five assists, and Cole has amassed four.
Kalli Douma recorded her first solo shutout of the season, recording six saves in the victory.
Trinity continues its SCAC campaign Sunday with a noon matchup on the road against Southwestern (TX) University.
