Corey Wildman
Title: Assistant Track & Field Coach

Corey Wildman is in her fifth season as an assistant coach of the Trinity track & field teams. The former Corey Callahan, a standout on the Trinity women’s track & field squad, coaches the Tigers in horizontal jumps.

Since joining the staff in 2016, Coach Wildman's jumpers have had great success both at the conference and national levels. Her jumpers have earned 18 All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) titles at the SCAC Championships, half of which have been conference titles. On the national stage, Coach Wildman has coached eight NCAA Division III National Championship qualifiers, two of which received All-America accolades (Ayriel Coleman - seventh in triple jump at the 2017 Outdoor Championships; and Britney Sullivan - seventh in triple jump at the 2018 Outdoor Championships). Coach Wildman has had at least one student-athlete qualify for the NCAA DIII Championships each year she has coached.

Coach Wildman earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Trinity in 2012. A magna cum laude honors graduate, Coach Wildman double majored in business administration (international business) and German. She spent her junior year in Munich, Germany, taking courses through the program Junior Year in Munich, and Ludwig Maximillian University.

Coach Wildman made the Trinity’s Dean’s list numerous times and received All-Academic kudos from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association following the 2012 season. 

A talented student-athlete, Coach Wildman previously held the Trinity record in the women’s long jump from 2010-2018, until Sullivan succeeded her as the current record-holder. Coach Wildman competed as a heptathlete her senior year, finishing 24th in the nation. She also earned All-SCAC status five times in the long jump and 400-meter relay.

Outside of coaching track & field, Coach Wildman works as a business development assistant at H-E-B headquarters in San Antonio. In her role, she supports the bakeware and food storage categories. Coach Wildman also manages all aspects of her team's product from pricing and inventory/sales analysis to advertising strategies.

In November 2015 Coach Wildman married teammate Todd Wildman ‘ ‘09, ‘10, a two-time NCAA champion in the men’s pentathlon. Coach (Todd) Wildman coaches Trinity student-athletes in hurdles and multi-events, and they are proud parents to a rambunctious rescue pup named Wilson.
