San Antonio/La Jolla, California - Trinity's track & field teams turned in strong marks at University of the Incarnate Word Invitational and the University of California-San Diego Triton Invitational on Saturday.
Makenna Bentley won the women's high jump at UC-San Diego with a personal-best jump of 1.62 meters, improving on her team season-best mark.
Abigail Bannon-Schneebeck placed 11th of 36 runners in the women's 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:03.05, which is less than two seconds from a team season-best.
Olive Pertuit had personal bests with times of 2:25.65 in the 800 meters and 4:55.68 in the 1,500 meters.
Allison Hill placed 10th of 21 competitors in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a personal-record time of 11:53.72.
Harry Bellow turned in a Trinity season-best time of 15:19.30 in the men's 5,000 meters.
Tanner Lacy bettered his team season-best in the pole vault after clearing 4.65 meters.
Megan Richards was the top Division III runner with a time of 1:07.78 in the women's 400-meter dash at the UIW Invitational.
Madi Gammill turned in personal-best times in the 200-meter dash (29.12) and the 100-meter dash (13.62). Gammill was runner-up in the 100-meter hurdles and just missed her best performance.
Trinity will host the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships April 26-27.
