Tiger Track & Field Enjoys Strong Showing at Bobcat Invitational

San Marcos, Texas - Members of Trinity's men's and women's track & field team set personal marks Friday at the Bobcat Invitational.



Jordan Juran placed seventh of 21 competitors in the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase and posted a personal-best time of 11:35.48. Allison Hill also had a PR in the steeplechase.

Brianna Ratliff ran the women's 1,500 meters in a personal-best time of 4:52.36.

All four Trinity competitors in the women's 5,000 meters established personal-best times. The quartet was led by Abby Blackwood's mark at 18:50.92.

Olive Pertuit, Gabi Amaya, and Laurel Daughtrey also set personal marks in the 5,000 meters.

The Tiger men had their moments in the 5,000 meters. Joshua Morgan bettered his personal-best by some 25 seconds, clocking in at 15:47.02. Keaton Holt also improved his best mark.

David Buss ran a team season-best time of 10:21.90 in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase. Buss bettered his previous season mark by 10 seconds.

Seve Rodriguez and Blair Walker each won their heats in the men's 400-meter hurdles.



The Tigers continue competition Saturday in the Bobcat Invitational.
