San Marcos, Texas/Austin, Texas - Members of the Trinity track & field teams competed in the Bobcat Invitational in San Marcos and the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in Austin on Thursday.
Stella Affognon broke her own school record in the women's discus with a throw of 41.79 meters at the Bobcat Invitational, eclipsing her previous best throw by nearly two meters.
Robert Slaybaugh turned in a personal-best performance in the men's discus with a mark of 46.39 meters at the Bobcat meet.
Abigail Bannon-Schneebeck ran the women's 400-meter hurdles in 1:04.91 at the Texas Relays and entered the multi-divisional meet with Division III's best time in the event.
Also at the Texas Relays, Andy Garza finished the women's 400-meter hurdles in a season-best time of 1:07.27.
In her first 3,000-meter steeplechase of the 2019 season, Molly McCullough crossed the finish line in 11:08.26 at the Texas Relays.
Trinity's teams will continue competition Friday at the Bobcat Invitational in San Marcos.
