McCullough and Love Compete at Track & Field Nationals

Geneva, Ohio - Molly McCullough and Matthew Love represented Trinity in the respective women's 3,000-meter steeplechase and men's discus at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Thursday.



Love registered a mark of 46.23 meters in the discus, and finished in 11th place. He entered as the eighth seed, with a throw of 51.52 meters. Last year, Love placed 14th at the NCAA Championships.

McCullough ran the 3,000-meter steeplechase preliminaries in 11:05.19, for a 15th-place finish. She missed qualifying for the finals by just over a second. McCullough was seeded 15th, with a time of 10:52.60.



Cody Hall is set for the men's 110-meter hurdles preliminaries on Friday, and Nkolika Nweke will run the women's 100 meters prelims. The finals will be held Saturday.

Britney Sullivan and Ayriel Coleman will compete Saturday in the women's triple jump. The prelims and finals are scheduled for the same day.
