Taking on a field which represented 10 countries, Valmassei placed 11th in the finals of the high board with a score of 237.60. Valmassei qualified for the final round by finishing 12th in the preliminaries, with a mark of 214.80.
Liva finished 13th in the prelims, scoring 181.25.
The winner and third-place finishers represented Canada, while a diver from Cuba was runner-up.
The international event was hosted by Club Aquatique de Montreal (CAMO).
The Tiger swimmers and divers will next compete at Southwestern (TX) University in Georgetown, Texas, on January 19.
