Friday's dives were the voluntary or required dives. The event concludes Saturday with the more difficult optional events. The scores will be combined to help determine competitors for the NCAA Division III Region 2 Championships at Grinnell, Iowa, in March.
Valmassei scored a first-place mark of 116.75 on the low board, five points ahead of second-place teammate Anthony Liva.
MacAskill was tops on the 3-meter board with 121.85 points, four ahead of the Valmassei in third place.
Katarina Partales placed second on both the women's 1-meter and 3-meter events. Partales was just three points behind the first-place finisher from Kenyon on the low board, and 3.5 in back of the host-school diver on the high board.
The diving portion of the meet concludes Saturday morning, with a 9:00 a.m. (EDT) starting time.
