Seven Tigers Set to Compete at NCAA Championships

San Antonio - Seven Tiger student-athletes will compete in the NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships Wednesday through Saturday at Indianapolis, Indiana.

Senior Lindsay Hagmann is set for three individual women's events, starting Wednesday with the 50-yard freestyle. She will swim the 200-yard freestyle Thursday and the 100-yard freestyle on Saturday.

The quartet of Hagmann, Lauren Cuda, Abbie Jones and Star Rosales will compete in three relay events. First up is Thursday's 200-yard freestyle relay, followed by the 800-yard freestyle relay Friday and the 400-yard free relay on Saturday.

First-years Daniel Valmassei and Anthony Liva will represent the Tigers in men's diving. The 3-meter event will be held Wednesday and the 1-meter on Friday. Senior Christine Peterson is Trinity's women's diver and is set to compete on the the low board on Thursday and the high board on Saturday.

Trials will be held in the mornings at the Indiana University Natatorium with the finals scheduled for the evenings each day.

Trinity's head swimming coach is Scott Trompeter and Stan Randall heads the diving program.
