Each diver contributed greatly to the team's success last weekend at the Kenyon College Relays Invite in Granville, Ohio. Denison University hosted the diving portion of the event.
Liva won the men's 3-meter competition with a score of 272.50 in his first collegiate event, and finished as the runner-up on the low board. Peterson was fourth in the women's 3-meter and sixth on the 1-meter board to open up her senior season with the Tigers.
In the combined events, Trinity's men won the 1-meter and 3-meter boards. Liva and fellow first-year Daniel Valmassei won the men's high board, and the positions were reversed on the low board.
The Tiger women placed second in the combined competition of both boards. Peterson and first-year Glenys Winfiele were runners-up on the 1-meter board. In the high board, Peterson and first-year Bella Peters teamed up to finish as runners-up.
Trinity's divers will conduct an intrasquad meet at 3:30 p.m. in Hixon Natatorium on Friday, then Tigers will take on Colorado College at 10:00 a.m. Saturday.
