Coach McMindes and Hamilton Lead Trinity’s Tennis All-SCAC Selections

San Antonio - Trinity men's tennis Head Coach Russell McMindes and first-year Wilson Hamilton lead the latest accolades from the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.

Coach McMindes was elected the SCAC Men's Tennis Co-Coach of the Year, and Hamilton was tabbed as the SCAC Men's Newcomer of the Year. Voting was conducted exclusively among conference head coaches.

As a result of his efforts, Coach McMindes holds at least a share of Coach of the Year kudos for the eighth time in his nine-year tenure. Coach McMindes guided the Tigers to a ninth consecutive SCAC Championship, defeating Southwestern (TX) University 5-0 in the finals. The victory marked Trinity's 23rd overall men's tennis SCAC Championship.
