Six Trinity Men’s Tennis Players Selected for SCAC All-Tournament Team

San Antonio - Six members of the 14th-ranked Trinity men's tennis team have been selected for the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Tennis All-Tournament Team.

Lambeth was an All-Tournament player at #2 singles last season and won the accolade on the third line in 2016. He was part of the #1 doubles tandem in 2017 and competed in the third match in 2016.

Wilson Hamilton was Trinity's representative at #1 singles, while Pitts played #2 singles and recieved All-Tournament recognition for the second consecutive year. Jace Akagi-Okuma competed in the fourth matchup. Hamilton and Akagi-Okuma were All-Tournament honorees at #2 doubles, while Austin Crist and Tilden Oliver made the squad on the third line.

Led by ninth-year Head Coach Russell McMindes, the second-seeded Tigers defeated #1 Southwestern (TX) University 5-0 in the championship match. Trinity took out Centenary (LA) College 5-0 in the quarterfinals, and then beat Austin (TX) College 5-1 in the semifinals.
