
San Antonio - The Tiger men's tennis team opened the Trinity Invitational Friday with a number of victories in the flighted tournament.
HIGHLIGHTS
Trinity, St. Edward's (TX) University, Laredo (TX) Community College, St. Mary's (TX) University, and the University of the Incarnate Word (TX) are competing in the two-day event.
Wilson Lambeth defeated Manuel Pilotto of Laredo Community College in the opening round of Flight 1 Singles. He faces Chase Bartlett of St. Edward's in the semifinals.
Lambeth and Matt Tyer beat Jeremiah Gonzalez and Bojan Popovic of St. Mary's in the Flight 1 Doubles semifinals. The Trinity duo will play Bartlett and Luis Diaz of St. Edward's for the championship.
It will be an all Trinity final in Flight 2 Doubles, as Wilson Hamilton and Lars Wiik take on McKenna Fujitani and Jace Akagi-Okuma for the title.

The singles semifinals are slated for 9:00 a.m. Saturday, and the championships for 11:30 a.m. The doubles finals are scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
