Tigers Finish in 12th-Place Tie at West Cup

The Tigers shot a third-round 308 for a total score of 936 at the par-71 Sierra La Verne Country Country Club. Trinity improved its second-round score by 13 strokes and rose from 13th place.

Trinity finished just six strokes behind 26th-ranked Allegheny (PA) College, which placed ninth in the tournament.

Dawson Dally shot a 4-over-par 76 in today's round for a three-day total of 232 and a tie for 36th place. Dally rose four positions from Monday's opening two rounds. He also tied for fourth in the tournament with nine birdies on his card.

Bryce Pidgeon came up nine slots to a tie for 40th with his score of 76 in the third round, finishing with a total of 234.

Spencer Leader tied for 47th place and DJ Springer came in tied at 55th.

Peyton Bartee also tied for the #55 position after an improvement of seven strokes with a 5-over 76 in the third-round.

Ten teams in the tournament were ranked in the Gofstat DIII rankings, including tournament champ and 13th-ranked Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CA) Colleges and its final score of 874.



The Tigers will compete April 15-16 at the Rhodes Collegiate Classic in Memphis, Tennessee.
