Trinity Men’s Golf Finishes Eighth at Schreiner Spring Shootout

Kerrville, Texas - The Trinity men's golf team placed eighth Tuesday at the Schreiner Spring Shootout held at Comanche Trace.

 

HIGHLIGHTS

The Tigers shot a second-round 316 for a 626 total, just seven strokes behind seventh-place University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (TX).

Bryce Pidgeon shot a final-round 80 and tied for 14th place at 8-over-par 152 at the Schreiner (TX) University event.

Spencer Leader shot a 4-over-par 76 on Tuesday for a two-round total of 155. Leader bettered his score by three strokes from the first round and rose from a tie from 38th place to a tie for the 22nd slot.

DJ Springer tied for 42nd place and Peyton Bartee finished in a tie for 47th. Dawson Dally improved his first-round mark by four strokes and upped his final position by four slots to a 54th-place finish.

 

UP NEXT

The Tigers will be back in action March 25-26 at The West Cup in La Verne, California.
