Men’s Golf Finishes Fifth at John Bohmann Memorial

Seguin, Texas - The Trinity men's golf team shot a third-round 286 Tuesday and finished in fifth place at the John Bohmann Memorial Invitational at Starcke Park Municipal Course.



The Tigers stood in sixth place after Monday's second round and bettered their score by 14 strokes to finish the tournament at 891. Nine teams competed in the Texas Lutheran University-hosted event.

DJ Springer carded a final-round 2-under-par 69 and completed the tournament at 5-over 218. Springer finished in a tie for 16th place.

Dawson Dally and Peyton Bartee each shot a third-round 1-over 72 and finished at 9-over 222 and tied for 25th place. Dally led the tournament with 43 pars on his scorecard.

Emilio Ortiz tied for 33rd place and Spencer Leader came in tied for the #43 position.



Trinity will compete October 1-2 at the Crisader Collegiate Invitational in Belton, Texas.
