Men's Golf Sixth After Opening Day at Bohmann Memorial

Seguin, Texas - The Trinity men's golf team stands in sixth place after two rounds Monday at the weather-delayed John Bohmann Memorial Invitational.

 

HIGHLIGHTS

The Tigers shot 305 and 300 for a two-round total of 605 at the Starcke Park Municipal Course. Nine teams are competing in the event, hosted by Texas Lutheran University.

First-year golfer DJ Springer is tied for 24th place after shooting a 7-over-par 149. Springer carded a Trinity-best score of 73 in the first round, and shot 76 in the second.

Dawson Dally and Peyton Bartee are tied for the #27 slot with 8-over 150s. Emilio Ortiz is in a tie for 38th place, and Spencer Leader, competing as an individual, is tied for 48th.
