Martin was tabbed for the All-West Region Second Team, while Chaumette was selected for the Third Team.
Martin was tabbed for the All-West Region Second Team, as well as being named the SCAC Baseball Player of the Year. The All-SCAC First Team honoree was second on Trinity's team with a .343 batting average. He led the Tigers with 72 hits and 45 runs scored, as well as posting team highs of 15 doubles and seven home runs.
Chaumette was selected for the All-West Region Third Team this season, after earning Second Team honors last season. Chaumette was also chosen for the West Region All-Tournament Team and the All-SCAC First Team this spring. Chaumette led the Tigers with a .351 batting average and drove in a team-best 44 runs. He also cracked six home runs during the course of the season.
The two Tigers contributed greatly to the team's success this season. Fourth-ranked Trinity captured its 12th Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship and advanced to the NCAA Division III Playoffs for the 12th occasion. Led by 21st-year Head Coach Tim Scannell, the Tigers shared the regular-season conference title with a 14-4 record, and finished the campaign with a 35-12 overall mark.
