Dalys Binder led off the bottom of the fourth inning with a solo homer that made it 3-0, and neither team scored again until the eighth.

Austin got a one-out triple that led to its first run of the game to make it 3-1, but Trinity got the run back after taking advantage of a leadoff walk, an error, and a wild pitch to push the lead back to 4-1.

A Tiger error in the ninth made it a 4-2 game with two runners on base, but Trinity escaped the inning with the win.

The scoring in the second game began in the second inning, as Brannen Caraway's leadoff triple set up John Tucker's RBI single that put Trinity in front 1-0.

Austin answered with two runs in the top half of the third, stringing together a walk and a pair of hits that gave the visitors their first lead of the day at 2-1.

Trinity immediately tied the game as Jake Martin led off the bottom of the third with a solo home run.

After being retired in order in the fourth and fifth, the Tiger offense came back to life in the sixth. Mason Meredith led off the inning with a solo shot that gave Trinity a 3-2 lead.

Caraway followed Dalys Binder's triple with a run-scoring single to make it a 4-2 Tiger advantage, but a double play kept Trinity from an even bigger inning.
