The Bulldogs continued to score, though, piling up three more runs in the second and third to take a 4-1 lead over the Tigers.

In the bottom of the third, Trinity tied the game with three runs on four hits, but they did left the bases loaded and were unable able to take their first lead of the day.

Texas Lutheran got a two-out RBI double in the third to go back in front, then added an insurance run in the eighth with another two-out rally to take a 6-4 lead.

In the bottom of the ninth, Jake Martin laced an 0-2 pitch over the fence in left field to tie the game. The Tigers had the winning run on second with just one out, but couldn't pull off the comeback.
