SAN ANTONIO - The Trinity University Women's Swimming and Diving Team continued its dominance in day two of the Tiger Invite by building on the big lead they established after day one. The Tigers remain in first place with a team score of 809, the second place team has a score of 522. The Tigers collected one relay win, four individual wins and took second and third in the one meter dive. TU swimmers also broke two records on the night.
The group consisted of Mabel Fowler (Uvalde, Texas / Uvalde), Jadyn Trahan (League City, Texas / Clear Springs), Caroline Myers (Austin, Texas / Bowie) and Emma Hagan (Overland Park, Kan. / Olathe East) swam to a first place finish in the 200 yard medley relay and set a new school record with a time of 1:45.67.
Libby Goode (League City, Texas / Clear Creek), Josie Gillentine (Heath, Texas / Rockwall Heath), Morgen Reyna (Houston, Texas / Stratford) and Meghan Magill (Longmont, Colo. / Silver Creek) took second in the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 1:48.91.
Karin Petersen (Cibolo, Texas / Randolph) won the 400 yard IM with a time of 4:44.57. Caroline Westholder (Minneapolis, Minn. / Edina) took second in the 400 yard IM final by touching the wall in 4:44.57.
Myers raced to a first place finish in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 57.21. Hagan, Reyna and Fowler occupied the top three spots in the 200 yard freestyle with times of 1:52.47, 1:52.85 and 1:53.18.
Trahan and Gillentine finished first and second in the 100 yard breaststroke with times of 1:06.18 and 1:06.19 in a tight race that went down to the wire.
Brooklyn Fuscone (Hoffman Estates, Ill. / Hoffman Estates) and Alexis Radhakrishnan (Lexington, Ky. / Paul Laurence Dunbar) scored 383.55 and 379.00 to take second and third in the one meter dive.
