Justin Parker is in his 21st year at Trinity, serving as the Associate Director of Athletics and Sports Information Director.
Justin is responsible for all aspects of athletic communications, including the website (www.trinitytigers.com), publications, statistics, recruiting brochures, webcasts, and media relations. He also spearheads the production of the biennial Trinity Athletic Hall of Fame.
He was the interim Sports Information Director in the spring of 2000, following graduation from Trinity in December 1999. Justin earned the Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration. Additionally, Justin was the assistant softball coach from 2002-2003.
Justin was named the Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities in the 2004-05 academic year. Among his duties were the scheduling of athletics facilities, coordinating with on-campus and off-campus groups using the facilities, and was the liaison between Athletics and University Communications. Justin became the Associate Director of Athletics in 2016, heading a department of three full-time members in sports information.
He was honored by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) in 2007 for his work with the sport, receiving the AVCA Grant Burger Media Award for the South Region. In 2017 and 2019, Justin and his colleagues were presented the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Sports Information Staff of the Year award.
Justin is an active member of College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). He has served on the United States Basketball Writers Association Division III National Player of the Week Committee since 2014-15.
A native of San Antonio, Justin played football and baseball at Madison High School, where he earned All-District and All-City accolades.
Justin and his wife, the former Natalie Thomas ‘00, have a daughter and son, Grace and TJ.
