Emily Loeffler

Emily is a 4-time All-American for Trinity and an 11-time NCAA Qualifier. Her first All-America honor came in 2008 when she ran the 3,000m Steeplechase, her junior year, at the NCAA Division III Track and Field National Championships. She placed 3rd in the field and ran a school record of 10:28.31. Her time also put her on the top 10 Division III All-Time list for the event.

Her second All-America honor came in the fall of 2008 where she became Trinity's first ever cross country All-American placing 17th at the NCAA meet with a school record and personal best time of 21:31. She helped lead the team to its highest placing ever at the NCAA Championships with a 6th place finish.

In the early spring of 2009 she competed in her first indoor season and placed 5th in the 5,000m at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships. Her time of 17:09 marked a personal-best and school record at the time. Later in the spring she competed at the NCAA Outdoor Championships placing 8th in the steeple chase for her fourth All-America award.

Apart from being an All-American Loeffler is also a 10-time SCAC Champion. In 2007 she garnered Trinity's first SCAC Cross Country Runner-of-Year Award for women. She earned four of her ten championships her sophomore year where she won the 10,000m, 3,000m steeple chase,1,500m, and 5,000m all within a two day span and got her second SCAC Runner-of-the-Year award. Loeffler also earned All-Region and All-SCAC each of her four years competing as a Tiger. Emily was the recipient of the NCAA Post-Graduate Scholarship and the NCAA DIII Ethnic Minority and Women’s Internship Grant her senior year.

She currently holds six school records- Cross country 5000m (17:55) and 6000m (21:31), Indoor track 3000m (10:04.28), outdoor track 1500m (4:36.88), 3000m (9:53.29), and 3000m steeple chase (10:28.31). She also holds the SCAC 3,000m steeple chase record with a time of 10:44.91.
