Caitlin Masse has had a standout season so far for the Tiger
cross country team, including most recently, a second-place finish
at the SCAC Championships.
Masse, the 2007 SCAC Newcomer of the Year, is now a three-time
All-SCAC runner and a two-time All-Region performer for the Tigers.
She will compete in the NCAA South/Southeast Regional meet later
this month, looking to become just the second Trinity runner ever
to win the event.
Masse won the Texas DIII Cross Country Championships Meet, as well
as the Texas Lutheran University Invitational, then posted her
personal best time at the Chile Pepper Festival in Arkansas. In
that meet, among mainly Division I competition, Masse finished 35th
as an individual, registering the second-fastest 6k time in Trinity
history.
