Tiger Volleyball Players Earn AVCA All-Region Honors

San Antonio - Trinity University Tigers senior setter Caiti Troyer and sophomore outside hitter Madison McMahon have earned American Volleyball Coaches Association All-Region honors.
 
Troyer, from Atlanta (Wesleyan), made the All-South Region First Team, and earlier made the All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference First Team. She registered 1,408 assists this season, and 3,554 in her career. Troyer is ranked fifth in Tiger career assists.
 
McMahon, from Austin, Texas (St. Michael's Academy), was selected for the All-South Region Honorable Mention Team. She previously made the All-SCAC Second Team. McMahon led the Tigers in kills this season, with 448, for an average of 3.45 per set.
 
The Tigers, led by Head Coach Julie Jenkins, finished the SCAC Tournament (hosted by Trinity) in fourth place. Trinity sported an overall record of 22-16 during the 2010 campaign.
