Trinity Volleyball Splits Opening-Day Matches at SCAC Event

Sewanee, Tenn. – The Trinity Tigers split their opening-day matches Saturday at the SCAC East-West Tournament at Sewanee: The University of the South.
 
DePauw rallied from a 1-2 deficit to win 25-22, 16-25, 21-25, 25-19, 15-10 in the Tigers’ first match of the day. Trinity then made a comeback by defeating Centre 25-21, 21-25, 21-25, 25-22, 15-9.
 
Trinity (8-8) wraps up the cross-over tournament Sunday, starting with a 9 a.m. match against Oglethorpe. The Tigers final match, with 20th-ranked Austin College, begins at 1 p.m.
