Alexis Edwards Named to SCAC All-Tournament Team

Atlanta, Georgia - Trinity junior defensive specialist Alexis Edwards has been selected to the SCAC All-Tournament Team after leading the Tigers to third place at the conference tournament. 

Edwards totaled 55 digs over the three matches this past weekend, and also committed just two reception errors in 77 attempts.

For the season, Edwards has tallied over 400 digs and is averaging 2.89 digs/set.  During the SCAC Tournament, she averaged 4.58 digs/set.

Trinity's volleyball team defeated Austin College 3-2 in the opening round, but lost to Southwestern in the semifinals.  Trinity then swept DePauw 3-0 in the Third Place Match.
