Tigers Open Second Day of Action by Sweeping Oglethorpe

Colorado Springs, Colorado - The Trinity Tigers volleyball team, ranked No. 15 in the nation, shut out Oglethorpe 25-11, 25-14, 25-16 in Saturday’s opening match at the second SCAC East-West Tournament.

Trinity (21-7, 11-3 SCAC) concludes the divisional event at 4 p.m. Mountain Time today against host Colorado College, ranked 14th nationally.

Senior outside hitter Amy Mittelstaedt led the Tigers with 12 kills. Mittelstaedt hit .308 in the match (12 kills, 4 errors, 26 total attacks) and had two service aces.
