Trinity Women's Tennis Starts Season with Losses at Lady Rebel Invitational
Baytown, Texas - The Trinity Tigers women's
tennis team, ranked No. 19 in the NCAA Division III, went 0-3 at
the Lady Rebel Invitational at Lee College.
Trinity lost 6-3 Saturday to national JUCO champion Lee College.
Megan Jackson won No. 5 singles, and Kassie Seger took the No. 6
position. Seger and Katie Budinsky were winners at No. 3 doubles.
On Friday, the Tigers were edged 5-4 by Prairie View, and 5-1 by Tarleton State.
Trinity opens its home campaign next Friday by hosting JUCO powerhouse Tyler Junior College at 3 p.m. at Delavan Tennis Stadium.
