Women's Tennis Blanked by Tyler Junior College

San Antonio - The Tyler Junior College Apaches, ranked No. 2 in the NJCAA, beat the Trinity Tigers women 9-0 in a dual match Sunday at Delavan Tennis Stadium.

Trinity, ranked No. 19 in the NCAA Division III, now stands at 0-5.

The closest match of the day for the Tigers was No. 6 singles, as Trinity sophomore Kassie Seger of Boise, Idaho (Bishop Kelly), split sets with TJC's Anna Zurek. The Apache sophomore prevailed 6-4, 6-7, (10-5). A tiebreak was played instead of a third set.

Trinity takes on St. Edward's, ranked 14^th in Division II, at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
