Trinity women's tennis player Katy Poettcker won the play-in match to advance to the main draw of the ITA National Small College Championships, but lost in the opening round to Laura Chen of Carnegie Mellon. Poettcker and Thavindra Ekanayake also lost in the doubles play-in round, as did men's tennis singles player Erick DelaFuente.

The Tiger women's tennis team won both the singles and doubles championships in the ITA Regional tournament, hosted by Trinity this weekend. Katy Poettcker defeated teammate Thavindra Ekanayake for the singles title, while the pair teamed up to win the doubles crown.
