Denison, Texas - Trinity Tiger senior midfielder Brianna Young scored a solo goal in the 107th minute as Trinity beat Austin College 2-1 in double-overtime Friday in an SCAC game at Munson Stadium.

The game was moved from Sherman because of weather conditions.

Trinity, ranked as high as No. 6 in the NCAA Division III, remained undefeated at 5-0-0 and 1-0-0 SCAC.

The first goal of the game came in the 64th minute from the Kangaroos Natalie Nelms. It marked the first goal the Tigers have yielded this season.

Forty-three seconds later, Trinity evened the game at 1-1 on a goal from sophomore forward Kelly Watts. Sophomore midfielder Allyson Hunter provided the assist.

Regulation expired, and then the first overtime, followed by Young's game-winner six minutes, 11 seconds into the second overtime.

First-year goalkeeper Katie Garrett registered one save, and gave up her first goal of the campaign.

Trinity outshot Austin College 22-4 and led 9-2 in shots on goal. The Tigers held a 7-2 advantage in corner kicks.

The Tigers travel to Irving Sunday for a non-conference tilt at noon with the University of Dallas.
