Trinity's Dietert Named to D3HOOPS.COM Women's All-Region Team

San Antonio -- Trinity Tigers junior forward Abby Dietert (Cibolo, Texas/Steele) has been named to the d3hoops.com Women's All-South Region Team.
 
The 5-11 Dietert was elected to the All-South Region Third Team. Earlier, Dietert was selected for the All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Team for the third straight year.
 
Dietert led the Tigers with 16.6 points per game, field goals made (158), free throws made (115), rebounds (6.7 per game), field goal shooting (.483, 138-327), and blocked shots (25 total).
 
She entered Trinity's record books as the ninth-leading all-time scorer, with 1,087 points, and is the Tigers leader in single-season free throws made, with 115.
 
The Tigers, led by head Coach Amie Bradley, completed the season with a 14-13 record. Trinity beat Rhodes in the SCAC Championship Tournament quarterfinals at Jackson, Miss., and then was eliminated by eventual champion DePauw in the semifinals
