Tiger Women Finish SCAC Weekend With Loss at Hendrix

Conway, Ark. - The Hendrix Warriors edged the Trinity Tigers women's basketball team 72-69 in a SCAC game at Grove Gymnasium on Saturday night.

The score was tied at 66-66 with less than two minutes to go, as junior forward Abby Dietert made a layup. Dietert was fouled and sank a free throw, as Trinity led 67-66. Hendrix then went out to a 70-67 lead with 40 seconds on the clock. Dietert brought Trinity to within one point (69-70) with less than 30 seconds remaining. But the Warriors hit two free throws, after a Trinity foul at the 6-second mark to clinch the game.
