Tiger Men's and Women's Teams Split Against UT-Permian Basin

Midland, Texas - The Trinity Tigers women's swimming and diving team beat the Texas-Permian Basin Falcons 156-83 Saturday afternoon in an inter-divisional dual meet Saturday afternoon.
 
Trinity competes in the NCAA Division III, and UTPB in Division II.
 
The Falcons edged the Tiger men 121-116.
 
In morning diving competition, Tiger divers had their usual outstanding performances. All-American Ruth Hahn won the women's 1-meter (234.10) and 3-meter boards (267.85). Katie Sheldon was runner-up in both events, registering 231.65 on thr 1-meter, and 256.05 on the 3-meter.
 
Kevin Martin took the men's 1-meter diving competition (234.20), as well as the 3-meter (310.35). Matt Hawley placed second on both boards, scoring 162.20 on the 1-meter, and 209.35 on the 3-meter.
