Teresa Greppi Earns Academic Honors from CoSIDA

San Antonio - Trinity University Tigers senior Teresa Greppi (Dyer, Ind./The Culver Academies) has been elected to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Softball Academic District VI Second Team.
 
Greppi is an English major with a 3.79 grade point average, and will earn her bachelor's degree May 14.

Greppi batted .313 during the season for the Tigers, playing both designated hitter and outfield.  She was recently named to the 2011 All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Honorable Mention Team.

Trinity, led by first-year head Coach Selena Collins, had one of the most successful seasons in years.  The Tigers, who completed the campaign with a 21-24 record, advanced to the SCAC Championship Tournament final at Greencastle, Ind. It marked the first time the Tigers made the final game since 2007.
