Erick DelaFuente

Despite being in just his first semester, Erick DelaFuente has made a huge splash onto the Trinity Tiger men’s tennis scene.

DelaFuente won the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regional Singles Championship this fall, advancing to the ITA National Small College Championships in Mobile, Alabama. DelaFuente, a native of El Paso, Texas, lost in the opening round of the ITA Championships, but will still earn All-America status by virtue of winning the regional title.

DelaFuente and the Tiger men’s tennis team will open up the spring season at the Abilene Christian University Indoor Championships in early February, and the team will play its first home contest on February 12 against Tyler Junior College.
