Denny Mask Named SCAC Defensive Player of the Week

San Antonio – Trinity University Tigers sophomore defender Denny Mask of Tulsa, Okla. (Holland Hall), has been selected as the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
 
Mask led the sixth-ranked Tigers to a 1-1 record last week, as Trinity recorded a 3-0 shutout over Rowan, but lost 1-0 to top-ranked Christopher Newport. The taut Tiger defense, and Mask, allowed just four shots to Rowan, and then yielded a single goal to Christopher Newport. Coming into the game, CNU was averaging four goals per game.
 
Trinity (8-2-0, 2-0-0 SCAC) continues defense of its SCAC title Friday, hosting Colorado College at 8 p.m.  On Sunday, the Tigers will host Austin College.
