Men's Soccer Upset by UMHB Saturday Afternoon

Belton, Texas – The Mary Hardin-Baylor Cru upset the 16th-ranked Trinity Tigers 1-0 Saturday at the ASC-SCAC Challenge.
 
Bo Baker fired in a penalty kick to the left corner in the 67th minute of play. The PK was awarded as a Mary Hardin-Baylor player was pulled down in the box. The Cru improved to 2-0-0 and Trinity dropped to 1-1-0.
 
Trinity led 24-9 in shots, and 11-4 on goal. Trinity also led 9-3 in corner kicks. Denny Mask had three shots on goal, and Kyle Porter registered two for the Tigers. Trinity goalkeeper Tim Nelin made three saves in the game.
 
Last season, UMHB beat Trinity 2-1 in San Antonio.  The Tigers wrap up their Belton trip Sunday by taking on Texas-Tyler at 4 p.m.
