Trinity Edges Texas Lutheran Friday Afternoon in Georgetown

Georgetown, Texas - Trinity's men's soccer team evened its season record with a 1-0 win over Texas Lutheran University on Friday afternoon.

Ben Grossman scored a goal in the 67th minute as the fifth-ranked Trinity Tigers edged the Texas Lutheran Bulldogs 1-0 Friday at Southwestern University.

Grossman's goal came over the top from teammate Tommy Barros.

The Tigers improved to 1-1 and the Bulldogs dropped to 0-2 in the non-conference game.

Trinity outshot TLU 13-3 and held a 13-2 advantage in corner kicks.

Tiger goalkeeper Patrick Johnson registered two saves.

Trinity takes on UT-Tyler at 3 p.m. Saturday, also at Southwestern.
