Luke Caldarera Named 2nd Team All-District by NABC

San Antonio – Trinity University Tigers junior forward Luke Caldarera of Houston (Katy Taylor), was elected to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Division III All-South District Second Team.

It marked the second consecutive year the 6-foot-4 Caldarera was named to the prestigious team. He earlier was selected for the All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference First Team, for the second straight time.

Caldarera is ranked in the top 25 all-time Tiger scorers, and w reached the 1,000-points plateau. He is the 23rd Trinity player to achieve the mark. Caldarera was ranked fifth in SCAC scoring (15.0 points per game) and rebounding (7.9 per game), and ninth in steals (1.4 per game).

The Tigers, led by head coach Pat Cunningham, completed the season with a 14-13 overall record, and were 9-7 in the SCAC. Trinity advanced to the SCAC Tournament semifinals.
