Tiger Men Second After First Round of UMHB Fall Invitational

Killeen, Texas - The Trinity men's golf team stands in second place after Monday's opening round at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Fall Invitational.

 

HIGHLIGHTS

The Tigers shot an opening-round 292 at the par-72 Stonetree Golf Club course.

Trinity is just two strokes behind the leader, among a field of 10 different teams.

Dawson Dally is in a four-way tie for first place, after shooting a 2-under-par 70. Dally led the field with seven birdies on the day, and was under-par in both par-3 and par-5 scoring after round one.

Max Mitchell stands alone in sixth place, with a par-72. Mitchell produced five birdies in the opening round, and is tied for second with Dally in par-5 scoring with a total score of 3-under on those holes.

Peyton Bartee is tied for 11th place at 2-over par, and Corbin Cormier rounds out Trinity's top-20 golfers in the #18 position, at 4-over. Tucker Norris is tied for the #42 slot.
