Paul Michalak has been coaching the defensive line at Trinity since 2009.

Coach Michalak spent three years at Carthage College in Kenosha Wis., serving as a graduate assistant and as a defensive line coach.

As a player at Carthage, Coach Michalak was a four-year letter winner from 2002-2006, and was a member of the 2004 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Championship team that was ranked fifth nationally.  That season, Carthage was also the top-ranked defense in the nation.

After finishing his undergraduate studies with a double-major in business administration and marketing, Coach Michalak earned a master’s degree from Carthage in 2009.

He was a coach at the Alex Brown Football Camp in 2007 and 2008, and also worked the inaugural Devin Hester Football Camp in 2008.
